There are literally hundreds of activities that schools and colleges could get involved in to raise money for Foresight. Here are some traditional ideas:
- Orange* Ribbon and bandana sales (orange is Foresight’s colour
- Mufti day, i.e. a non-uniform day
- A wear-orange day
- Sponsored sports events (swimming, running, cycling, etc.)
- Read-a-thons
- Spelling bees
- Quizzes
- Bake sales
- Second-hand book/comic sales
- Car boot sales/Bring and buy sales
- Odd job money (walking dogs, washing cars…)
- Karaoke competition
- Pancake/waffle sales
- Dance marathon
* Orange is the Foresight campaign color as it is the last color that Katy Newitt can see clearly. It also represents strength and endurance – very important for running the London Marathon!

An orange hair day
Sponsored beard-shaving (for teachers!)
Baked beans bath
Dry cornflakes/cream cracker eating contest
Pram push
Scoff-a-hotdog competition (e.g. who can eat 2 in the fastest time)
Sponsored silence
Orange foam party
etc., etc.
